LAND USE LAW
In addition to traditional real estate law, we also practice land use law, the area of law that pertains to the use of land, including annexation, detachment, zoning, conditional use, special exception permits, wet land and other fill and land disturbance permits, easements and land use licenses, together with land subdivision, whether by certified survey map or plat. It also includes negotiating city/village/town–developer agreements as well as tax incremental financing agreements. Land use law is a very technical area of the law and truly needs professional representation.
We have extensive experience in representing clients in land use law matters, whether individuals or businesses, in private matters, in public matters needing approval by a government body or agency, in litigation, and in administrative and judicial appeals.
Practicing in this area: John A. Kassner, Ronald M. Trachtenberg, Emilie A. Dozer
